YEREVAN. – At Tuesday’s session, the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia made a decision to discuss behind closed doors the matter of Armenian POWs in Azerbaijan.
The NA draft statement, which condemns Azerbaijan's policy of obstructing and unnecessarily delaying the process of return of POWs and captive civilians, was submitted by at least one-fifth of the MPs.
NA speaker Ararat Mirzoyan suggested discussing the draft statement in a closed session, and all the lawmakers supported this proposal.
