Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan has issued a message on the occasion of International Women's Day.

"It is an opportune occasion to express our love and gratitude to the fairer sex, especially appreciating the invaluable contribution of our mothers, wives, and sisters in our lives.

I would like to express my special respect and homage to our mothers who gave their most precious thing homeland: their child. We owe you an eternal debt, which we must remember every day and act with that awareness,” the message reads in part.
