I was deeply saddened to learn of the untimely and tragic death of my friend: French politician and businessman, MP of the French parliament, president of strategy and development of the famous Dassault Group, Olivier Dassault. Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian on Monday noted this in a message of condolences.

"Olivier Dassault was a great friend of Armenia and the Armenian people. During our numerous meetings with him, we often talked also about cooperation, the possible projects to be implemented with Armenia," Sarkissian added in part.

As reported earlier, Olivier Dassault was killed on Sunday in a helicopter crash.
