YEREVAN. – Armenian Hayots Ashkharh (Armenian World) newspaper quoted politician Alexander Iskandaryan that Armenia’s prior problem is to reach an agreement to take the snipers out of the contact-line.

“It is hard to believe Azerbaijan would agree on tis. Ilham Aliyev has serious causes to continue ‘the sniper war’. It is a clear strategy for various reasons. For example, Azerbaijan would be deprived of the main reason on blackmailing the international society by taking the snipers away from the contact line,” stated Iskandaryan. “The maximum that co-chairs can expect is reaching to a written agreement on the Madrid principles. Anyway, no abrupt changes are expected from the meeting in Kazan.”

In response to the setting of Peacekeeping Troops in the conflict area, the politician told there are many questions the answers of which are difficult to find.
