Istanbul court prosecutor Ali Demir asked the court to keep Ogust Samast, murderer of Hrant Dink in jail from 19 up to 27 years.
Samast stands trial at a juvenile criminal court in Istanbul was below 18 in 2007. He is charged with “deliberate murder” and “possession of unregistered gun.”
Hrant Dink, chief editor of the bilingual Agos newspaper, was killed near his office in Istanbul on January 19, 2007.
