YEREVAN.- The Armenian society hails positive an attempt of dialogue between the authorities and opposition.
According to the poll conducted by the Sociological Association this June among 600 Yerevan residents, 47% of respondents hail positive the dialogue, while 20% consider it is a negative initiative, the rest remain undecided.
Presenting the survey results to journalists Association’s chairman Gevorg Poghosyan said that 34% of respondents believe that dialogue will increase rating of the authorities, while 24% consider it will increase radical opposition’s rating.
Sociologist said it would be more interesting if the dialogue was conducted through open discussions.
“We will be able to watch something else except for football,” he joked.
