French ambassador to Georgia Eric Fournier commented on his scandal interview in a Georgian publication.

He stressed that the interview in Tbiliselebi newspaper is his personal viewpoint and does not represent official position of France. The ambassador believes that the question, whether France feels responsibility for Georgian war in 2008, irritated him and caused such an emotional answer.

“What I told at the interview is not the official position of France, only my personal attitude. It is a pity that not all journalists are professional and sometimes spread untrue information,” French diplomat told Maestro TV Company, Georgia online reports.
