Former Rwandan female government minister is the first ever woman convicted of genocide.
Pauline Nyiramasuhuko, 65, was sentenced to life imprisonment Friday by the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, UPI.com reports.
Nyiramasuhuko charged with genocide and incitement to rape was Rwanda’s minister for family and women’s development.
