A stallion named “Korol” from Tajikistan won the Russian President’s Cup horse race in Tatarstan on June 24.
The horse won a distance of 2,400 meters in 2 minutes 34.94 seconds. The prize fund made RU 10 million. A stallion owned by head of “Gazprom” Alexei Miller won the second biggest trophy, RIA Novosti reports.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov also attended the horse race.
