YEREVAN.- Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) hails positive authorities-opposition dialogue as it is better than a confrontation, party’s MP Vardan Bostanjyan told journalists on Tuesday.

“Moreover, PAP welcomes the dialogue and will spare no efforts to participate. However, the dialogue has not been established yet. First of all the sides should define the content,” he said.

According to him, PAP does not understand the need of negotiations between the government and  opposition. The party believes the dialogue must be held as discussion to raise topical problems the country is faced with.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan responded on June 17 to the issues related to dialogue with opposition Armenian National Congress. In his statement President Sargsyan noted that “the only logical and acceptable way to move forward and find solutions to the existing difficulties is dialogue and discussions”.
