YEREVAN. – Plastic surgery is new in Armenia with only 25 years’ of history, chairman of Association on Plastic Surgeons Armen Hovhannisyan told at a conference on plastic surgery Tuesday.
Though plastic surgery includes both aesthetic and reconstruction, Armenians turn to it more for aesthetic reasons. According to Hovhannisyan, Armenian plastic surgeons are professional but they still need to be integrated in international processes.
