Baku is to blame for achieving no results during the Kazan meeting of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian presidents. Azerbaijani side disrupted signing of the document purposely instigated by Washington, said Russian political expert Vladimir Zakharov.
Speaking during Yerevan-Moscow space bridge, the expert noted U.S. is not interested in peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
According to him, Washington is inciting Baku to resume hostilities to seize an opportunity and deploy its peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
“Thus the U.S. is trying to turn Nagorno-Karabakh into a foothold for its air forces to begin military action against Iran in 2012,” he said.
In this context one should not expect immediate resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
