YEREVAN. – Secretary of Armenian National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan met with delegation head by NATO Secretary-General’s Special Representative on Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai. Sides stated that Armenia-NATO cooperation develops effectively, Council’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The Secretary emphasized emergency situations regarding cooperation. Particularly, Armenia intends to install European 211 or American 911 system of emergency calls. Other fields of cooperating with NATO are struggle against cyber terrorism and international crime. In the context of regional issues, Baghdasaryan stated Armenia’s position on Karabakh conflict resolution, which is solving the problem through negotiations and reasonable compromises. Armenia considers inadmissible Azerbaijan’s position on the Karabakh issue.
