This year’s winner of the Cannes Film Festival, “The Tree of Life” directed by American Terrence Malick will be screened during the Golden Apricot International Film Festival.

Terrence Malick shot only four films which got highest awards, reported festival’s press service.

Yerevan will host the 8th Golden Apricot International Film Festival from July 10 to 17. This year’s festival has a new competition program, “Apricot Stone,” which includes short films.

The festival has received 135 film entries, 25 out of them from 18 countries were selected for the competition.
