Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries held consultations in Moscow on the transition to uniform armament. “The program provisions re-equipment, equipment and refortification of Collective Urgent Response Forces by 2015,” CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov told journalists on Wednesday. According to him, the draft proposal will be presented to member-states’ presidents and MODs in December. The implementation of the program will begin in 2012. Collective Urgent Response Forces have been founded by CSTO countries – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Russia, Tadzhikistan and Uzbekistan on February 2, 2009.
