YEREVAN. - An extraordinary council of Nairit chemical plant’s shareholders accepted resignation of plant’s CEO Vahagn Melkonyan.

First deputy general director, chief engineer Hovik Ahinyan is appointed acting director general, plant’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Nairit plant producing chloroprene rubber has suspended its activities since last March.

Rhinoville Property Limited holds 90% of the company stock, with 10% held by the Armenian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
