The truck crashed into six cars on Saturday on the highway connecting the capital of Mexico with the major city of Puebla.

19 people became victims of traffic accidents in the suburbs of Mexico City, three were injured.

After the collision, several cars were completely burned down.

According to preliminary data, the failure of the truck's braking system led to the tragedy. The driver of this vehicle was killed. Firefighters and rescuers continue to work at the scene, traffic on the highway is blocked in both directions.

The victims were taken to hospital, no information about their condition was made public.
