A railway station will be constructed in Akhalkalaki district of Georgia’s Armenian-populated Samtskhe-Javakhketi province.
Construction works will kick off within three weeks. The station’s project is designed by German architect Jurgen Mayer, reported press service of Georgian Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry.
Tetritskaro- Akhalkalaki railway passage will be renovated and some infrastructure facilities will be constructed as well.
Javakhk (Georgian name – Javakheti) is an Armenian-populated part of Georgia’s southeastern Samtskhe-Javakheti province.
