YEREVAN. – Issues on electoral lists were not discussed during board meetings of the Republican Party of Armenia with the party leader, President Serzh Sargsyan, a reliable source told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
According to the source, this issue might be discussed at private meetings, but no official talks on the lists are conducted within the party. However, sources do not rule out the representatives of other political parties, in particular, the United Liberal National Party (MIAK) or non-party politicians may be included in RPA electoral lists. According to the source, three representatives of MIAK are likely enter the list.
Rumors have it the pre-election list of RPA will include mainly younger generation of “politicians”, who are likely to be MIAK members, not Republicans.
