YEREVAN. - U.S. highly appreciates the ongoing legal reforms in export controls Armenia, as well as the application of relevant procedures, Head of the Department for Arms Control and International Security at  Armenian MFA Samvel Mkrtchyan stated at the meeting with U.S. Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Non-Nuclear and Counter-Proliferation Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation Ann Ganzer.

The meeting stressed the work on modernization of customs offices in northern Armenia in accordance with international standards, the press service of Armenian MFA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The sides also discussed the further strengthening of effective cooperation between Armenia and U.S. in the mentioned fields.
