STEPANAKERT. - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited defensive positions of the Nagorno-Karabakh defense army on Tuesday accompanied by Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and NKR Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan.

Sargsyan talked to soldiers, got familiar with service conditions. Premier also awarded watches to certain soldiers.

Premier Sargsyan also visited one of the military units where he participated in military exercises.

Addressing the servicemen, Tigran Sargsyan said they must be proud to serve in the Karabakh defense army as they are representatives of victorious army.

“Armenian government will spare no efforts for you to have an opportunity to increase combat readiness,” he added.

Talking to journalists, Armenian PM said he was impressed by the level of military and psychological readiness of the soldiers.

As to warlike statements voiced by the Azerbaijan, Sargsyan considers the best response is improvement of combat readiness of the army.
