TBILISI. – Armenia will host an exhibition devoted to the Adjarian tourism and investment potential.
The agreement was reached during the meeting between the head of Adjarian government Levan Varshalomidze and Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan.
During the meeting the Ambassador presented the newly appointed Consul General of Armenia to Adjaria Garik Israelyan, Georgian press reported.
The sides discussed issues on cooperation between the two states and Armenian investments in the region. The parties will hold another meeting soon to elaborate proposals to deepen economic relations.
“We have discussed the issues related to development of bilateral relations. The number of Armenian tourists has significantly increased over the recent years. So, we should ponder on deepening of economic relations,” the Ambassador stated.
