The labor market, compared with 2020, has seen positive changes, Minister of Finance of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan said in the National Assembly during a preliminary discussion of the implementation of the state budget for 2021 .

Thus, there is an increase in average wages in both the public and private sectors.

"The average salary in 2021, compared to 2020, increased by 7.6%. The state budget deficit in relation to GDP amounted to 4.6%, which is 0.8 percentage points less than a year earlier. At the same time, the public debt in relation to GDP amounted to 60.3%, which is 3.2% less than in 2020"  the minister said.
