YEREVAN. – First aid service is free of charge in Armenia. If doctors demand money or their behavior is disrespectful, a compliant can be filed, said director of First Aid service Taguhi Stepanyan.

Stepanyan recalled the cases when their employees were dismissed for medical malpractice.

Receiving a call, an ambulance car should arrive in 7-12 minutes, she told journalists. Stepanyan said 88 new ambulance cars were introduced in Armenia after the first aid service was modernized. Doctors, nurses and drivers of ambulance cars underwent trainings.
