YEREVAN. – Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on Wednesday met with Alexander Vinnikov, Head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, the Office of the Security Council of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

At the meeting, the chief of Armenia’s Security Council briefed the NATO official on the large-scale aggression undertaken by the Azerbaijani troops on September 13 against Armenia and on the broad geopolitical context of this aggression.

Also, Grigoryan emphasized that these Azerbaijani troops must leave the sovereign territory of Armenia, and that Yerevan continues to work with its international partners within the framework of this abovementioned matter.

In addition, the interlocutors discussed the current programs of the Armenia-NATO partnership, and outlined the possibilities of deepening cooperation in the democratic reform of the Armenian armed forces.
