The West is taking serious steps to break the CSTO, said Chairman of the State Security Committee of Belarus, Lieutenant General Ivan Tertel.

On behalf of the head of state, the leadership of the security bloc of Belarus meets with labor collectives throughout the country. Today there was a meeting with the workers of Belaruskali.

"The objectives of the collective West are simple - for us to change our geopolitical priorities and become one with the satellite countries of Eastern Europe. We note that the West has concentrated on not allowing the goals of creating a competitor in the post-Soviet space to materialize. There is in fact a process aimed at breaking the CSTO. There are serious measures taken to prevent such integration formation as the EAEU," said the KGB head.
