Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that Ankara was ready to consider Finland's application separately from Sweden.

"The trilateral memorandum clearly spells out who should take what steps. Last week, President Erdogan told Stoltenberg that we could take a different position on Finland's NATO membership," Cavusoglu said.

The head of the Turkish diplomatic office also said that propaganda by the Kurdistan Workers' Party continues in Sweden.
