YEREVAN. – If ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party abandons the coalition memorandum, its image would tarnish, coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Lernik Aleksanyan stated during a press conference on Tuesday.

“All forces, including RPA, intensify their activities prior to the elections…There is a written memorandum, and if any force abandons it, its image would tarnish,” Aleksanyan noted. In his words, RPA, however, is not particularly concerned about that.

The press conference’s other speaker, opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) member Zoya Tadevosyan, stated Prosperous Armenia has but one concrete objective: “To bring to power the Republic’s number-one criminal [former President] Robert Kocharyan.”
