Turkish authorities on Saturday detained 34 people suspected of links to the "Islamic State" in a large-scale operation against the militant group, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on his microblogging site X.
He said all suspects detained during Operation “Cage 35” are foreign nationals wanted under an Interpol red notice demanding their arrest.
He added that police also seized several unlicensed pistols.
