Syria has apologized for series attacks on the foreign embassies in Damascus.

During a televised press conference Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem apologized for attacks on the embassies of France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, Monsters and Critics writes.

“It is important ... that this does not repeat itself. The protection of the embassies is part of our responsibilities,” he said.

Last week the Arab League announced suspension of Syria after the Saturday ministerial meeting held in Cairo explaining it by “violence used by Syrian authorities against the protestors”.  In response to the decision, many-thousand rallies were held in almost all cities of Syria.
