Psychiatric examination ruled that "Norwegian gunman" Anders Breivik has been mentally incompetent at the time of the offense.

Psychiatrists diagnosed him with a paranoid-schizophrenic illness. The experts say he deemed himself a Knight Templar and committed murder out of love for people.

Earlier Media said that if the terrorist is found insane, he would be sent for compulsory treatment, ITAR-TASS reported.

Breivik has confessed to killing 77 people in a bombing in central Oslo and in a shooting at a Labour Party summer camp on an Utoya island in July 2011.
