A seminar and training course on strengthening the integrity of high-ranking officials was launched Monday at the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia—within the framework of the Armenia-United Kingdom (UK) defense cooperation, informs the MoD of Armenia informs.

At the start of the event, Hamlet Batikyan, Secretary General of the MoD of Armenia, emphasized the importance of the anticorruption and internal audit development activities by the defense ministries of Armenia and the UK.

He added that the goals of this cooperation include the promotion of good governance, the gradual introduction of the UK track record into the defense system of Armenia, as well as strengthening the foundations of integrity and honesty at all levels of Armenia’s defense system.
