Georgian civil society organizations, members of the media, and individuals will file a lawsuit against the law on "foreign agents" with the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), reports Ekho Kavkaza.
As it became known in the briefing held at the office of the Georgian Young Lawyers' Association on Thursday, this lawsuit will be filed on behalf of 16 media outlets, 120 NGOs, and four individuals.
The petitioners state that the aforesaid law violates the European Convention on Human Rights-protected rights to freedom of assembly and association, freedom of expression, the right to protection of private and family life, and the right to legal protection.
