Gnel Sanosyan the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, received Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia.

The minister highly appreciated the work done by the EU ambassador with the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia in all domains of cooperation, the ministry informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They discussed a number of matters of bilateral interest; in particular, work with Armenia’s communities, as well as the energy sector, road construction, and road safety improvements in the country. The aviation sector was also touched upon, and minister Sanosyan thanked Ambassador Maragos for his assistance especially in this sector.

The Crossroads of Peace project was discussed, too, and the head of the EU delegation to Armenia reaffirmed the EU's support for this project presented by the Armenian government. Also, the EU envoy informed that they are ready to assist in the restoration of infrastructure that was damaged by the floods in Lori and Tavush Provinces.
