According to preliminary data received from local election headquarters, the Georgian Dream already has a guaranteed majority in the Georgian parliament, said Kakha Kaladze, Mayor of Tbilisi and Secretary General of the Georgian Dream Party, reports Channel One of Georgia.

As Kaladze noted at the briefing, an unprecedentedly high turnout has been recorded as of 15:00, and the voice of every voter is of great importance.

“Today, it is decided whether our country will return to the dark past or preserve peace and dignity, without which the country's development is unthinkable and impossible. It should be noted that the data from three hours shows unprecedentedly high activity, which leaves no chance of success for the radical opposition. According to preliminary data from local election headquarters, the Georgian Dream already has a guaranteed majority in the Parliament of Georgia. Still, we need to gather the last forces and come to the polling stations to get a constitutional majority,” - stated Kakha Kaladze.
