Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development of the Netherlands, Reinette Klever, on Monday in The Hague.

The interlocutors discussed the opportunities for development of cooperation in sectoral domains parallel to the active political dialogue between Armenia and the Netherlands, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am..

Mirzoyan noted that Armenia highly values the Netherlands' support for reforms in democracy, rule of law, and human rights in Armenia, which was also reflected in the document outlining the priorities of the coalition government of the Netherlands. He emphasized the importance of continuity of cooperation in this regard.

The two FMs discussed as well the prospects for further deepening of Armenia-EU partnership. In this context, Mirzoyan and Klever exchanged views on the projects aimed at ensuring regional connectivity. Presenting Armenia's vision for establishing stable peace in the South Caucasus, Mirzoyan reflected on the Crossroads of Peace program developed by the Armenian government.

Also, the FM presented the measures being taken by the Armenian government to address the needs of the Armenians who were forcibly displaced to Armenia from Nagorno Karabakh.
