The current president of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, who is an avid critic of Western military aid to Ukraine, has won the first round of his country’s presidential elections Sunday, with 49.11 percent of the votes, N1info reports.
In the presidential runoff, he will compete with the candidate of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union party, Dragan Primorac, who has received 19.36 percent of the votes.
The presidential runoff elections in Croatia are slated for January 12.
