Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: The [ruling majority] CC [(Civil Contract)] faction [of the National Assembly (NA)] is waiting for a closed meeting with [PM Nikol] Pashinyan to get clarifications on how it happened that months ago, during the discussion, the majority opposed the decision to finally break away from the RF [(Russian Federation)], join the EU, pointing out the possible economic consequences, whereas today they are being forced to approve the Eurovote [referendum] draft.

Let us recall: in 2024, such discussions were held almost on a daily basis in the CC, in which Pashinyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, and the SCS [i.e. the Security Council secretary Armen Grigoryan] participated. Moreover, we were told that even Armen Grigoryan and his supporters were against the application for EU membership, taking into account the economic consequences, but Pashinyan made an unexpected decision, accommodating the Armenian pro-Westerners.

There is no specific date for the meeting yet, but the CC hopes that the meeting will be held by February 11, the start of the next four-day session [of the NA].

By the way, our source claims Pashinyan will tell the [political] team [of his] what he thinks about that process. That is, the NA will pass the [aforesaid] draft, but it will remain in the drawers, no other process, no continuation will take place.
And now, apparently, Pashinyan has decided to deceive the West and the [Armenian] pro-Westerners.
