France is convening a second meeting to discuss Ukraine and security in Europe, Reuters reports.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday and will include representatives of NATO countries that were not present at the first meeting on February 17, the BBC reported.

Two sources told Reuters that among the invited countries are Norway, Canada, the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, Greece, Finland, Romania, Sweden, and Belgium.

Recall that on February 17, the leaders of European countries held an emergency summit in Paris to discuss what they should do in connection with the intention of the administration of US President Donald Trump to hold talks with Moscow without the participation of Europe.

No specific decisions were reported following the meeting, but the EU and NATO said that it was necessary to invest more in defense, as well as to provide Kyiv with reliable security guarantees.
