Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: US ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien has gone underground—become passive—in recent weeks. Before, she used to visit various [Armenia’s] state departments—the IA [(internal affairs)], the justice ministry, etc.—on a daily basis, participating in discussions.

There is information that the new US administration is discussing the matter of changing the US ambassadors—in various countries, first of all in Russia—Lynne Tracy, who was the US Ambassador to Armenia in 2020-23 and, apparently, had justified the hopes of the [preceding US President Joe] Biden administration by being sent to Russia at such a difficult and responsible moment.

Let us note also that Kristina Kvien, in turn, arrived in Armenia from Ukraine, where she held the position of US Ambassador in 2020-2022.
