YEREVAN. – The institute of psychologists is not yet established in Armenia. Armenian citizens gradually get accustomed to the practice of turning to the psychologist, psychologist Mariam Mehrabyan told the journalists on Thursday adding that number of the centers offering psychological assistance is increasing.
In response to the question if the assistance is affordable to the citizens, the psychologist told that there are fixed prices. However, they work with the client individually counting on his or her budget. In general, one 1-hour-long consultation costs AMD 3,000-5,000 ($8-12). Mehrabyan added that she has no information on how many centers and psychologists there are in Armenia.
