Estonia is firmly committed to supporting all initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stable cooperation in the South Caucasus.
This was stated by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna in an interview with APA.
“We welcome Azerbaijan’s efforts to advance the peace process with Armenia. The joint statement signed in Washington this August is a positive signal, reflecting the commitment of both sides to achieve normalization and friendly relations. Estonia hopes that this momentum will continue, leading to the implementation of the Washington agreements, the opening of transport routes, and the signing of a sustainable peace accord. Within the EU framework, including through the TRIPP initiative, Estonia supports programs that strengthen connectivity, provide infrastructure support, and promote confidence-building measures that contribute to peace consolidation,” Margus Tsahkna said.
