On the occasion of Yerevan’s 2,807th anniversary, literary scholar and Honored Artist of Armenia Avetik (Avik) Isaakyan was awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen of Yerevan” for his significant contribution to the city’s artistic development.
The decision was made on October 23 at a meeting of the Yerevan City Council.
The same title was also awarded to journalist Mark Grigoryan and artist Taron Muradyan.
