Armenia is interested in regional cooperation and platforms. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Wednesday stated this during the international Orbeli Forum being held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

As the FM emphasized, relations with immediate neighbors occupy a special place in Armenia’s policy, with excellent relations with two of them and relations being normalized with the other two.

“We [i.e. Armenia] are interested both in bilateral relations and in regional multilateral cooperation,” Mirzoyan stressed, adding that there are foreign policy issues where the perspectives of three countries can coincide.

“We are 'condemned' to cooperation,” the Armenian FM said, adding that Armenia is interested in the 3+3 format as well.
