Armenian foreign minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the visiting US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Allison Hooker, Armenian News-NEWS.am reports from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed the development of the Armenia-US strategic partnership. Both sides emphasized their readiness to deepen cooperation in domains of mutual interest, including energy, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and investment promotion.
“I can note with satisfaction the active dynamics of political dialogue aimed at expanding the Armenia-US bilateral agenda, enriching the strategic partnership with new substance and concrete initiatives, as well as the continued US engagement in the consistent strengthening of the established peace [between Armenia and Azerbaijan],” Mirzoyan said.
Also, reference was made to the work being carried out to implement the agreements reached in Washington on August 8.
Given that the symbolic 100th day of the Washington Peace Summit is approaching, Ararat Mirzoyan and Alison Hooker noted the progress achieved so far in implementing the agreements, as well as the tasks ahead.
In addition, views were exchanged regarding the preparatory work necessary for building the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project. Its importance for the development of a wider network of transport and other connections was emphasized.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Alison Hooker exchanged views on several other regional topics, too.
