An Armenian delegation, led by National Assembly (NA) speaker Alen Simonyan, on Monday met with Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas, during its official visit to Greece.

Thanking for the warm reception, Simonyan emphasized the importance of such meetings for the development of bilateral relations, the NA informs.

The Greek president in turn thanked the Armenian NA speaker for this official visit, and noted that Armenia is one of Greece’s important partners.

Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed ways to intensify bilateral ties, Armenia-EU relations, as well as the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia.

Attention was paid also to regional developments and the peace process established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
