Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: According to protocol, the name of the Catholicos [of All Armenians, Karekin II] was mentioned during yesterday’s liturgy at the Holy Ghevontiants church, the diocesan seat of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the US.

This is noteworthy because the diocesan primate, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, is one of the 10 oath-breaking clergymen who have turned against the Catholicos. This means that some clergymen [of the Armenian Apostolic Church] are either hostages in the hands of [Armenian PM] Nikol Pashinyan and, out of his sight, acknowledge the leadership of the [serving] Catholicos of All Armenians and perform liturgy according to protocol, or the churches and priests working under their jurisdiction no longer obey the rebels.
