December 12, 2009 the meeting of Convention of European Armenians will be held in Cologne, Germany.

According to Hayastan newspaper published in Athens, Convention of European Armenians (established in 2003) also affirmed its readiness to keep on focusing its efforts on the recognition of Artsakh’s rights taking as a basis international right to self-determination, meanwhile fighting for Armenian Genocide’s recognition internationally. Particularly, CEA statement reconfirmed its undertaking to support democracy, human rights and freedoms’ establishment processes in Armenia.

Initiative group of Convention of European Armenians stepped up efforts towards the organization of Armenian communities’ activities throughout Europe in the past year.
