YEREVAN. – Participants of the third interregional forum “Russia, Armenia, Customs Union” will discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in different areas.
The forum will be held in Gyurmi and Yerevan on December 2-3, a source in Kremlin told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The forum will bring together around 500 participants, including representatives of the Russian state agencies, business circles, Armenia and Russian NGOs.
Vladimir Putin and Serzh Sargsyan are expected to attend the opening of the forum. Russian leader will be accompanied by six ministers, 11 governors, heads of Rosatom, Gazprom, RUSAL, Inter RAO UES and VTB.
The first day of the forum will be held in Gyurmi, Armenia’s second largest city. Participants will be welcomed by the presidents. During the forum, a symbolic launch of the fifth unit of Hrazdan TPP will be held. On December 3 the work will continue in Yerevan in the format of roundtable discussions.
A joint statement will be made as a result of the forum.
