Six foreigners were injured in a massive brawl between Armenians and Azerbaijanis near one of the public catering outlets in Lviv. The press service of Lviv’s national police told UNIAN that on May 16 at 16 : 00 the operational line  102 received a message about a massive brawl near a cafe in one of Lviv’s streets.

“Six people were injured during the scuffle. About twenty men, as witnesses say, were involved in the fight. They used weapons,” says the press service. A criminal case is initiated under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code (hooliganism ). The article stipulates imprisonment for a term of seven years.

The law enforcement agencies informed UNIAN that there began a dispute between two citizens of foreign countries who live in Lviv . The dispute took place in the cafe , owner of which is one of those countries’ citizen. Citing social networks Сегодня.ua yesterday's brawl is a continuation of the incident in Lvov that had taken place during sport competitions. At that time, the Azerbaijani national team coaches and athletes attacked the members of the Armenian delegation with batons after their team had defeated.
